Presales Engineer,

Singapore 


Launched in 2002, NetGain Systems is a pioneer in the IT monitoring and protection business and has more than 500 clients in Singapore, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.

Job Scope

  • Performs technical pre-sales support activities in support of the company’s products
  • Conducts online product demonstrations and webinars
  • Answers technical questions from potential customers and channel partners
  • Maintains and continually upgrades technical understanding of products and provides training to other team members where necessary
  • Advise sales team in all technical pre-sales support functions, on the best solutions to fit customer requirements
  • Performs pre-sales technical support duties, including product configuration and troubleshooting of customer issues
  • Convey customer feedback including feature requests and product issues to Product Management and Development teams
  • Presents at partner events and trade shows

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in a relevant computing discipline or 4+ years’ experience in related field (Technology consulting, presales, network engineer, network administrator, system administrator or similar IT related job function)
  • A good mix of technical ability, sales and customer interaction skills are required
  • Needs to be flexible and be willing to jump on customer calls on topics where you may not be an expert
  • Experience with TCP/IP based networks and a fundamental understanding of Network and Application Management protocols including SNMP, SNMP Traps, Syslogs, ICMP, WMI
  • Server (Windows 2008, UNIX or Linux) experience
  • Windows or Unix Scripting (VB, Perl, shell) experience highly desirable
  • Additional experience in Virtualization, Storage or Database technologies highly desirable
  • Experience in delivering technical training to pre sales and or/sales staff internally and externally to partners and end users is highly desirable
  • Willing to travel (~20%)

Sales Manager,

Singapore

Your key tasks

  • Sells into a defined sales territory and responsible for achieving sales goals
  • Develops a sales plan to achieve assigned targets
  • Represents NetGain in a relevant way that resonates with customers and highlights NetGain’s key value propositions
  • Understands a client’s critical business priorities and supporting IT challenges and requirements
  • Focuses on driving value for the client, while maximizing competitive share, revenue, and margin for NetGain
  • Maintains customer satisfaction

What we expect?

  • University or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of sales experience in the IT industry, preferably in software or systems with ability to manage a territory, sales quotas
  • Proven track record of sales achievements
  • Experience and familiarity in working with channels organizations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & spoken)
  • Results oriented, reliable, able to get things done in a dynamic environment and work independently
  • Singaporean or Singapore PR only
