NetGain Systems
NetGain Systems has been providing IT monitoring service for Games Networks and Admin Networks of 2008 Olympics, for more than 6 months already. During this period, NetGain Systems' IT infrastructure monitoring system covers almost every aspect of Beijing Olympic IT systems.
From the Games networks perspective, taking the Beijing Digital Building as center location, NetGain established a centralized monitoring platform supporting by field-deployed "EV+EM" two levels infrastructure, providing real-time monitoring service for IDS, GMS, network, security, Unix, Lenovo, Microsoft teams.
At Admin networks aspect, besides the same service in Games Networks, NetGain also provides data interface to local vendors such as Lenovo and Qimenxingchen...
From a professional service perspective, with the easy-to-use GUI, NetGain provides device views, business views and topology views to all teams. The monitored objects includes Intel Servers, Unix Servers, Workstations, printers, storage array, switches, routers, security devices, OS, DB, Middleware, Java applications and web applications.
As of Dec 2007, NetGain was monitoring 90 x Unix server, 220 x Lenovo Server, 400 x workstations, and 560 x network devices. In the future, there will be more than 1184 x network printers and 500 x network devices added on into NetGain IT monitoring scope.
In Dec 2007, in "Good Luck Beijing" Olympic trial games, NetGain provided reliable and comprehensive IT monitoring services to 24 games operations. There're total 21 game-sites and 5 non-competitive game sites installed NetGain IT infrastructure management systems. NetGain provided more than 1800 x hours IT management data to many technical teams.
Besides current services, NetGain constantly invest in manpower and many other resources into customer defined functionality services, including improving device performance, expansion of functions, and improving user satisfactions. As the Olympic games draws nearer, NetGain will put its best effort into improving the system performance aspect.
